Ms. Cooley joined Crestline in 1998 and is Managing Partner and CIO of SummitTX, a multi-strategy, multi-PM, market neutral hedge fund manager. She also serves on Crestline Investors, Inc.’s (parent company) Management Committee. A veteran in the alternative investment industry, Ms. Cooley has experience as a portfolio manager, risk manager and trader in equity, fixed income and derivative markets. Ms. Cooley previously was the CIO of Crestline’s former Hedge Funds of Fund business, which grew to $4bn AUM at its peak, overseeing manager selection and portfolio management, since joining the firm. From 1986 through 1997, Ms. Cooley was a derivatives trader and risk manager with Taylor and Company, an investment firm associated with the Bass Family of Fort Worth, TX (one of the earliest multi-asset, multi-strategy alternative asset managers). Ms. Cooley began her career in the investment industry at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company (later merged into JP Morgan) where she specialized in futures markets in both New York and Chicago after receiving her BA in Economics from The College of William and Mary in 1983. Ms. Cooley serves on the Advisory Board of Texas Wall Street Women and serves on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of Fort Worth.
Mr. Arbour joined Crestline in 2007 and is currently the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of SummitTX Capital. Mr. Arbour leads portfolio construction, strategic and tactical capital allocation, hedging, and all underlying investment strategies in this role. Before SummitTX's inception in 2015, he was the Head of Equity Strategies for Crestline Partners, the firm's former fund of hedge funds business. Previously, Mr. Arbour was in the equities division at JPMorgan, primarily focusing on generating and tailoring trades for hedge funds and institutional clients. His prior experience includes equity research at an institutional long-only investment firm. He holds a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst®, and is a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Society of Financial Analysts.
Mr. Peller is the Chief Operating Officer of SummitTX, overseeing middle and back-office operations, legal and compliance, accounting, and technology functions. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Peller is a seasoned platform builder with notable expertise in hedge funds, asset management, and proprietary trading. Most recently, Mr. Peller served as the COO of Multi-Asset Solutions at AllianceBernstein, where he was responsible for the strategy and execution of new product development, operations, and technology. Prior to AllianceBernstein, he was at Hutchin Hill Capital, focusing on building and growing its quant equity business. Mr. Peller also worked at Knight Capital (now Virtu Financial), contributing to the growth of the firm's retail investor and proprietary trading business. Earlier in his career, Mr. Peller gained experience in various parts of financial services at American Express, Kurt Salmon Associates (an Accenture company), and Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Peller has an M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Kellogg School and a B.S. in Decision Information Sciences from the University of Florida.
Mr. Jackson joined SummitTX at its launch in 2015 and oversees marketing and fundraising, as well as the hiring of portfolio managers across all strategies and the buildout of their teams. Before joining Summit, he worked at Brown Graham & Company, P.C., in the audit/tax department and assisted in valuation and litigation cases. Mr. Jackson earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from West Texas A&M University.
Alex Didych, CFA, FRM, PRM joined Crestline in 2007 and isis the Chief Risk Officer for SummitTX. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Didych was Head of Market Risk Management, New York, at AMRO Bank N.V. Mr. Didych led the team responsible for the market risk management of trading activities that cover Credit, Local Markets, Equity and IR Derivatives Desks. In addition, he aggregated risk across the various products and trading desks to assess broader portfolio risks. Mr. Didych graduated summa cum laude with a M.S. in Applied Math-operations Research from National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv, Ukraine and also has a M.B.A. with high honors from the University of Chicago.
Mr. Bernstone joined Crestline Summit in 2021 and is a Managing Director, Head of Trading, overseeing all of SummitTX’s trading. Mr. Bernstone joined from Credit Suisse, where he was a Managing Director and worked from 2005-2021 in both New York and London. He held several senior roles in Equities and Prime Services including Global Head of Delta One, Head of Systematic Strategies, Head of Program Trading Risk and Head of Central Risk Books. Mr. Bernstone joined CS from Deutsche Bank, where he was a Managing Director and Head of International Program Trading. He has also held senior trading roles at Barings, in both New York and Tokyo. Mr. Bernstone began his career at Morgan Stanley in New York in 1989 and has a BA from Brandeis University.
Melinda Lilly joined Crestline Summit in 2015 and is the Chief Administrative Officer for SummitTX. Prior to joining SummitTX, Ms. Lilly was the Director of Operations at Paradigm Advisors with responsibilities in various capacities of the business including compliance, research, operations, and Investor Relations. Prior to joining Paradigm Advisors, Ms. Lilly was a Financial Representative at Fidelity Investments working in trading, client service, and branch operations, as well as serving as a point person to Fidelity’s high net worth clientele. Ms. Lilly graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Psychology from Lee University.
Mr. Timotheou is the Chief Technology Officer at SummitTX, responsible for driving the firm’s technology strategy and execution. Before joining SummitTX, Mr. Timotheou was Head of Tech Strategy & Enterprise Services at Balyasny Asset Management, where he led firm-wide technology initiatives, optimized back-office systems, and drove key platform enhancements that improved efficiency, scalability, and investment decision-making across the firm. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Balyasny, overseeing the expansion of the firm’s technology organization. Prior to Balyasny, Mr. Timotheou held senior technology leadership roles at Point72 Asset Management and SAC Capital Advisors, where he managed front-office technology strategy, built proprietary trading and portfolio management systems, and enhanced investment research platforms. Mr. Timotheou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Mr. Tyson joined Crestline in 2014 and currently oversees all research and portfolio manager underwriting and aids in the portfolio construction and capital allocation for SummitTX. Before joining Crestline Summit at its inception in 2015, he served as a Research Analyst conducting diligence on equity hedge funds for Crestline Partners, the firm’s former fund of hedge funds business. Before joining Crestline, Mr. Tyson worked within the Asset Allocation division at T. Rowe Price, overseeing investments in the firm’s target date and target risk mutual funds. Mr. Tyson graduated from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Accounting and Economics. Mr. Tyson is also a CFA Charterholder.
Mr. Sabar joined SummitTX in 2025, and currently oversees Zenith, SummitTX's business unit focused on developing rising star portfolio managers. Before joining SummitTX, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management where he ran a multi-sector portfolio with a team of Portfolio Managers and Analysts. Prior to his time at Millennium, Mr. Sabar was the Head of US Equities at York Capital Management, and a Partner at Corvex Management. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sabar was an investment professional at Perry Capital and an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. He holds a BA from Stanford University, and a JD from Yale Law School.
Mr. Harada joined SummitTX in 2025 as Head of Asia Business Development to build out the firm’s expansion into Asia, which includes reaching out to investment talents as well as investors in the region. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Lighthouse Investment Partners, overseeing its Japan focused equity platform as well as managing client relationships. Over the years, Mr. Harada has served on various hedge fund roles within entities of HedgeMark (now Innocap), Nomura and Itochu. He holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern and a BA in Economics and History from Midwestern State University.
Ms. Gottschall joined SummitTX in 2023 and serves as Head of Investor Relations. Ms. Gottschall joined SummitTX from Goldman Sachs where she was Head of Public Site for Marcus Invest and Marcus Deposits businesses. From 2014 through 2021, Ms. Gottschall led digital marketing for a number of tech and consumer companies. From 2011 to 2014, Ms. Gottschall supported marketing and investor relations at Blue Harbour Group, a small cap long-bias activist hedge fund. Before Blue Harbour, she was a public finance banker at Barclays Capital, working on fixed income issuance for higher education institutions. Ms. Gottschall began her career in 2004 supporting global marketing and investor relations efforts for the alternatives platform at Lehman Brothers (LBAIM). She has an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.P.P in International Economics from Georgetown University.
